Kenmare Credit Union Art Awards 2014

 

To celebrate International Credit Union Day, 16^th October 2014, Kenmare Credit Union held an Exhibition Launch for Kenmare Credit Union Art Awards. A selection of the entries, including the winning entries, are currently on display in the Credit Union Office. Michael O’Brien, Chairman of Kenmare Credit Union presented the winning entrants with prizes and certificates.

The winners were as follows;

7 & Under

1. Lucy O’Reilly – St. John’s NS
2. Ruby Hannah O’Sullivan – St John’s NS
3. Amy Truman – St. John’s NS

8-10 Years

1. Molly Bhamvra – St John’s NS
2. Jania Salvado McCormack – Cahir NS
3. Jack O’Sullivan – St John’s NS

11 – 13 Years:

1. Mark Torpey – Realt Na Mara NS
2. Ava Wiley – St. John’s NS
3. Katarzyna Klorek – St. John’s NS

14 – 17 Years:

1. Rosina Law-Braney – Pobal Scoil Inbhearr Sceine

 

The First Place winners from each category will be entered into the Kerry Region Competition and should they be sucessful in that they will move onto The All Ireland Credit Union Art Awards.

We wish the best of luck to Lucy, Molly, Mark & Rosina in the rest of the competition.
