Online Access
Killarney Credit Union has now made it easier for you to manage your money 'on the go' and in a way that is convenient to you. We would like members to have access to their accounts anywhere, anytime.

Foreign Exchange with Fexco
We offer members a Foreign Exchange service. This service is available through Fexco Ireland allowing us to buy and sell most foreign currencies. While there is a commission charge, you will find us as competitive as the Post Office or your Bank, so it is worth checking out our rates. We can also buy back any foreign bank notes on your return. Please note Photographic I.D. is required for all Foreign Exchange transactions over €500 (a current driving license, a current passport or other suitable form of photographic ID). Foreign Exchange Services are available in all three branches.
Fexco Click and Collect
You can order your foreign currency and collect from your credit union. FEXCO will provide email and SMS updates as soon as your order is in the credit union and ready for collection. Fexco also guarantees your transaction rate for two days after your order has arrived in branch. All currencies are normally ready for collection within two days but some exotic currencies can take up to seven days.

Quick Lodge
Avoid the queue. There is a quick lodge facility available in our Beech Road office. The quick lodge works very easily. Simply fill in the required details on the lodgement docket, keep the counterpart and lodge to the box.

Bill Payment
You can pay your household bills, top up your mobile phone and make other payments in cash at branches. We currently collect payments on behalf of Ireland’s biggest bill issuing companies including Bord Gais, Eir, Eircom & UPC. As well as paying your bills you can also top up your mobile phone with the mobile phone providers in the Irish market.
Just bring your bill or card to the Credit Union with your payment and we'll do the rest. You get a receipt for every payment you make, and your utility account is credited the next working day.

MABS (The Money Advice and Budgeting Service) is a free confidential independent service that provides help and expert advice to people who are experiencing difficulty in managing their money. MABS do not provide financial assistance.

Transferring to your Credit Union Account
Credit Union BIC/IBAN
You can easily transfer funds directly into your credit union account using your unique credit union BIC/IBAN. This is listed on all your transaction slips and can be used in the following way:
- Give you BIC/IBAN to your employer, social welfare provider, pension provider and have money paid directly into your credit union account.
- You can use your online banking to electronically transfer funds to your credit union account.
Please note when transferring funds electronically you need to let us know where you want your funds to go, i.e. your savings account, loan, or sub account. You can do this yourself by downloading an internal transfer and emailing info@killarneycu.ie.
Standing Orders
You can set up a standing order and arrange for the transfer of funds from your bank account to be lodged to your Credit Union account.
Payroll Deduction
We offer payroll deduction services to employers where they deduct directly from your salary and this can be sent directly to your credit union account. To set up a payroll deduction, please ask you payroll administrator to contact us directly.
